Another Day, Another Date

…And the cell phone emitted a resounding "beep" last eve, this time not wrought with sounds of voice and plan, but rather, text and tenacity. The oft heard about text message, which i rarely use, graced my little eyelids in a fashion most deserved of recognition:

"tuesday, mario party-party?" it beams, and i smile.

And so, at this very moment the girl is speeding off in this general direction, for a night of gaming-fun. Of course she called a bit prior (not so long ago) and giggles and grins with her sneaky little questions of "E, do you have ice in your apartment?" (sadly, ladies and gentleman, i do not have ice cubes!) and shes bringing over, it seems, alcohol in the form of beer and vodka/cranberry, for our stinted video game challenge. Ah yes, she hasn’t seen the boy in true video-game action, this should be amusing.

And for dinner: "E, i was thinking ordering-in a pizza?"

-Oh hell yes.

—–Ok, ok…enough of the girl rant for now, instead, i want to chat abit about the evening before, and its transgressions:

So i decided for once to take up the law-school first year group on their repeated invitation to play D&D. Biggest mistake ever, there was like zero roleplaying, and instead alot of dice-rolling and fighting. Quote of the evening "we’ve been "talking" for about 30 minutes, all i want to do is fight and break some skulls."

Sigh. I miss the old gaming crew, the fun…..the….gaming.

-Ryan and the boys apparently hit up the strip club last night, but once again (hmm!) failed to invite me. On one hand, i really dont care because i wouldnt have gone anyway (most likely…heh) but on the other, it seems everytime they go to a "certain" strip club, i never get invited…but when we go to the other ones, they invite me. It could be coincide, (it would seem that way…i mean, wtf could the difference be) but in 3 years, i’ve never been invited along when they go to *this* one. Thats just…odd.

Ryan did of course, tell me all about it, and the fact that he spent a good 600 bucks at the club. haha. Ah yes, i do adore that boy.

Ah well, i suppose i should try to make the apartment look a little more inviting; she should be here soon.
