Thanksgiving, and a Weekend to Remember
I wish i could explain, with any amount of certainty, why exactly i am writing this entry at 6am, and why, at the very same time, i am listening to My Immortal and wearing nothing but my dress pants.
Either way, that is the situation, and this convolution is the result of such transgressions. First things first, i thought it would be fun to post a picture or 3 of thanksgiving dinner, as Ryan, Sean, myself, and Anna put a large amount of work into the project, and it came out quite well.
First, the feasting-table (Anna at her best)
Lovely.
Next: the Art of cooking
But…but…where is E? What is E doing at this time, where is his contribution? (Ah…here it is)
Notice the shiny silvers at their best. I broke out the "dress pair" for this occasion!
And finally…a well deserved reward:
(see those tiny, red-looking eggs on our plates? that was my contribution)….Also, there is a nice plate of em on the back take there. Delight.
A wonderful thanksgiving. Truly, it was a good time.
Amusingly enough, the next day was Anna’s Birthday, and we took her to Dave and Busters, a fun chain-organization of games, food, and delightful alcohol-and-sugar drinks.
I had a CandyShop, and damn was it delicious. Jacinda managed to sneak in, and also partook of the Candyshop goodness. Sadly, the pictures from that event are not yet "ready," so i’m forced to use my skill with the english language.
-It started off interesting enough, we were placed in a side room (since the place was busy)…and at first, it was rather annoying, with other "families" around. However, as the night drug on, and the other tables emptied, we had the entire room to ourselves, which was awesome. I found the lightswitches, first dimmed them, then finally snuffed them out as we forced anna to blow out her cake, and we sang the necessary Happy Birthday Song.
Afterwards, we played the fun (and random) games, Sean told me to hit on the waitress, i was drunk enough to think MMmmm what a good idea, but luckily she was no-where to be found. Anna, in beautiful fashion, kept downing Sidecars like it was nobody’s business. (I ended up driving her car)
Of course, we had to make our token stop at Pin Up Bowl, which was same as always. I let Anna drive home from there, and Sean took me back to le cabriolet.
The rest of the weekend consisted mostly of me avoiding doing even more of the work which is already stacked way-to-high-for me to handle. Oh well.
Out of the blue Clay called me (my friend from good ol’ Penn State) and we caught up. I found out he’s having another baby, and we once again made plans for christmas break which will, of course, be broken.
I played a bit too much World of Warcraft, cleaned up my apartment a bit, but i am still stuck in this rut of self-demolition. I have to give a speech/presentation on wednesday, and i havent even started. Thats going to make for fun times.
My friends have begun to scold me for my slacking off/half-hearted girl-situations. I’m taking there advice to heart on this one…i really need to make something happen.
I have class in 5 hours, i am not going to be a happy boy then. But at this very moment, they delirium is at its peak, and i’m feeling just fine.
And with that, i’m going to once again attempt sleep.
Oodles o’ love,
Erotique
