Day 5: 10am

What is this you may ask?
This is the window looking into my old youth room at our old church building. I was driving to my grandmas house (who lives near where the warehouse is) and decided to finally go by…after all this time. I took this picture, got in my car and cried. It still floors me that the church i helped build, that i invested in, that i was truly passionate about is gone, forever. That we turned into another statistic, and not a beacon for God. It breaks my heart.

Day 6: Dinner

My FAVORITE butternut squash recipe. It is seriously DIVINE, i eat it like its crack.
Here it is: Cut your squash in half, length wise and take out the seeds. Pre-heat your oven to 450. Get a deep dish pan or glass pan and put about 1/4 inch of water in it, place your squash with the cut side facing up. Cover with foil and put it in the oven for about 40 minutes. Then take out the squash, and dig out the middle leaving about half an inch around the sides so it doesn’t fall apart. Take that inside stuff and mix it with sour cream (i use light), cut chives, and paprika. Take the mix put it back into the squash and put your oven on 425 and slide it back in there, uncovered, for 20 minutes. Feel free to add breadcrumbs if you’d like, i dont…but i hear its awesome.

. . .
Photo Challenge DOWN…sorry i didn’t post yesterday. The superbowl totally distracted me and i got home kind of cranky and tired. I was happy the giants won and it was definitely a solid game to watch.

~I just got back from the gym I did a little over an hour of cardio. WOOOOOO. Thanks to "The Voice" being on. I forgot how much i liked that show. Since i no longer have cable the only time i can really watch it is at the gym…so its kind of an incentive lol.
I didn’t get my run in tonight, i did the stair climber but i WILL run wednesday. I’m in a 10k at the tale end of march, i’m going to die, seriously. I’m able to run a little over a mile straight at a 5.0. My goal by the end of this week is to run a 1.5-2 miles at 5.0…we shall see.
I pulled a muscle in my back last week lifting too many weights. I KNEW i shouldn’t be lifting that many heavy weights and stacking them like i was but i was trying to be all tough…and now my shoulder blade is KILLING me.
Eh….hopefully it will go away, like now.

I start my bootcamp 4/2. My trainer was booked all the way until then, crazy huh?! But i’m super pumped…i think its going to be incredible.

anyways. I’m tired, sore, and hopefully going ot catch up on some "drop dead diva" tv shows…man i’m hooked.
<3
Peace.
