I’m flying. *p

 <–video w/ answers is that’a’way.

So i’m starting a February challenge where i take a picture every day…we shall see how it goes. I skipped today because well i find taking a picture of a stranger is slightly awkward. 🙂
[some of the pictures get cut off, so just click on them to make them bigger if you need to]
Lets dive right in shall we…

Day One: Your view today.

This is looking out of my front window across the street…

Here is another view of it. 🙂
And do you see that nicely cut lawn…yes that happened IN FEBRUARY! The grass was so stinking tall i couldn’t stand it any longer. So i HAD to cut it.

Day Two: Words.

I hate that its uploading sideways, i’ve tried to fix it…but its being frustrating.
Meeting Jamie Tworkowski, the founder of To Write Love on Her Arms, was one of the highlights of my life. His heart for others is truly inspiring! He signed my card this way…"Hope"….so much truth wrapped up in that word. <3

Day Three: Hands.

I got these rings years ago, at least 6 years ago. I don’t wear them often, but i consistently try to remind myself that waiting is worth it. While i’ve made my mistakes in the past and i’m not proud of what i’ve done…i will tell my husband that he will be me my first and last.

Day Four: a stranger
Bust.
haha.

I wonder what tomorrow will look like haha.
<3

I thought i would share what i’ve done with the kitchen lately. (meaning the past year…the last pictures are the most recent, aka this past weekend)
Lets see the progression shall we…

That junk finally got tore off. It sat like this for a while. I had to wait for my cousin’s husband to come over and wetsand everything…otherwise the walls would look all crumply.
So….
I painted the walls grey…like most of my house haha I am just in LOVE with cool colors lately. I’ve also come to realize that 8ft curtains are EXPENSIVE we’re talking like upwards of $60 for two panels…its insane. So i took at 6ft by 9ft drop cloth and painted chevron stripes on it…i’ve only got one panel done (thats why it looks all weird) but i’ll paint the other one next weekend probably…or this week sometime. I also got a little excited and cut the bottom…i’m an idiot i know. so i got some hem tape and am going to hem it a solid 5inches off of the floor (a. because its the kitchen and the floor gets gross, b. i janked it up, c. the curtain is covering a vent). Enjoy!
(sorry its so dark)

…Also that picture that you see on the right wall…thats actually a book picture. Its the first 20 chapters of Wuthering Heights ( <3 that book ) and they made the silhouettes by moving the words around.

Also i’ve already bought a new light, i’ve just got to get it hung. Then i can say BUH-BYE to that crazy railroad looking light.

Anyways, i hope everyone is having a great weekend so far!
