Watch it Die…
Somewhere dust covers the seal; vacant coffin
Lo this trumpet heralds the sire’s design
Frailty has excised faith inquistioned apathy
Curbing submission with but a thread of honor
This silver cross but a gilded collar
Reluctantly obedient chewing bones of the past
Tie the knots, swing the axe
Let it run, hear the blood, watch it die…
Thanks for the note. Quite the complement from the expert of chillers…like above….I mean, Let it run, hear the blood, watch it die….that’s no bedtime story either…. :o)

ryn: thanks for the kind words, relationships can wear on one’s brain for sure. in regards to music, i wholeheartedly agree with you. most mainstream music is such watered-down, homogenized crapola. there’s just no sense of originality anymore, because everyone is *trying* to be ‘quirky’. i find it so amusing how hipster-types are obsessed with irony as if it were a new concept.

I struggle too with how it all ends up. I’ve been trying to read alternative scriptures to the christian community that I was raised in. Judgemental philosophies of “we are right and your are wrong and blasphemous” is most disconcerting. The highway to redemption is paved with the best intentions but the wisdom seems somewhat lacking…especially since they all sound freakishly similar.
