Vegas

Well, we’re back from Vegas now.  It was a lot of fun, except for one aspect of it, but fun none-the-less.  Jules always talked about wanting to take me to the Star Trek bar, so we went, but when we got there, the drinks (Borg Sphere and Warp Core Breach) weren’t good at all.  The Warp Core tasted like a cherry’s shit, so we sent it back and got a Borg Sphere instead, which was better, but not great.  The food was mediocre as well.  Overall, I was disappointed.  At least the atmosphere was cool.

We also went to a buffet at the Rio, which was delicious!  Except for some pumpkin pie they had there, but it’s all good because when we got back, we made some of our own pumpkin pie and it is absolutely wonderful!

I expected us to drink a lot more than we actually did.  At one point, we played a drinking game where we all picked one phrase or word that we couldn’t say, or else we’d have to have a drink.  One was any combination of "Fuck" and "that" or "this" in a sentence, another was "Oh my God," another was "Look" used as a command (as in "Look at that fat chick’s ass"), and the other was "wrong" as in "that’s just wrong!"  We started it early in the day.  By the end of the day, we were tired of it.

We gambled a little bit.  I think Jules and I each spent around $30 or so on gambling.  Not too much, but enough to have fun.  We just did the slot machines.

We also went to see this really neat exhibition called Bodies.  It’s these preserved human bodies in various positions and with various tissues and organs visible.  It was great.  If you got close to them, it was really creepy.  It would feel like one of them would just start moving and grab you.

Jules and I had to sexile the other people in our group for a while so we could have sex in the hotel room too.  It was nice.  We need to go again, just the two of us, so we can spend a good 2, 2.5 hours next time.  🙂

Yesterday I watched Final Fantasy Advent Children and I wasn’t impressed.  It was way too much fighting and jumping around and not enough actual story.  Truthfully, I liked The Spirits Within more, even though it wasn’t the best movie either.

Before leaving for Vegas, I went to Disneyland and took over 170 pictures!  It was great!  I need to transfer them to my laptop so I can photoshop them into a wallpaper or something.
