brief four month or so update

It’s been a while since I last wrote here. A bunch of things happened since June.

Summer was summer for the most part. In September my parents took a two week walking pilgrimage in Spain. My nephew T had his tenth birthday at the end of September. My office finally had its open house near mid October (we had moved in April). So of course a week later I was let go from work – citing a bad economy and a less than stellar September. Then a week later a family friend dies. That same weekend my niece CC’s first birthday (which was exciting – she’s walking all over the place and touching everything and putting everything into her mouth). Then the monday after my mom went for surgery to remove some cysts near her thyroid. She stayed overnight and now is back, so she is doing well.

And so here I am and life marches on, unrelenting and unbaised.
