Startled

It’s the tail end of spring and coming up on summer, and the dawn is coming earlier again and that’s great, I guess. I know that there’s a lot of horizon out there with all kinds of different sunrises but I keep seeing the same ones, and I wish that weren’t the case. I’m prepping for a wee bit of travel here in the future, and I wish that I could just keep running about and seeing new things while I still have enough youth in me to do it recklessly.
Part of why I don’t travel much is because I never have traveled much, in a sort of circular logic. But the way I tend to do things, perhaps now that I’m getting started I’ll just keep running with it. Momentum being what it is, that’s likely enough.
