Yearly Entry Time
Maybe I’ll write more often, but honestly, no breath holding, okay? I don’t want anyone passing out while waiting, and while I feel like I *should* have tons more time for things like journaling, it doesn’t ever seem to work that way.
Let’s start with news…It’s literally been a year, yikes!
So…run down…
Got married 5/19/12 – YAY! Beautiful day, completely perfect! Honeymooned in the Poconos, and then at Dorney Park (yes, we rode roller coasters on our honeymoon, cuz that’s how we roll…hah, roll!)
NalGenie and HonNAY got married 7/19/12, another beautiful day, beautiful wedding. Super happy for them!
Got pregnant in August, I’m due 5/22/13. Baby is nicknamed Speck due to the size he/she roughly was when I found out. Nickname stuck, but eventual name will be either Zoey Erin or Liam Robert. We find out boy/girl Christmas Eve. We’re doing a gender reveal cake – I will post a link to the video on Facebook when we do it.
Got promoted with Slumber Parties – I’m a Senior Manager now which in short means I make more money, get more perks, and get more free product, and I have an awesome team under me.
Working only about 4-5 hours most weeks with Hurricane and Stormy this year as they’re both in school full time now. I like the break, and while I do miss them I was definitely burned out by the end of the school year last year.
That, in a nut shell, is what’s going on. The more nitty gritty?
I have the cold from Hades. Seriously, got sick sometime Friday night (after getting the dreaded flu shot Tuesday) and now I’m a wheezing, coughing, stuffy nosed, sneezing, short of breath mess. Thankfully Sudafed and Tussin are saving the day, so I haven’t quite gone insane yet, and Stormy was home sick with her Dad Wednesday so I didn’t need to go into work, so I’ve had from yesterday-this Sunday to get better. I can’t taste anything, which is a pain. I discovered this thing called Fire Cider which is supposed to help with symptoms and lessen the length of a cold. Maybe it is, between that and the fresh juice, and the meds that I am allowed to take, but I’ve gotta say, this feels like the worst cold I’ve had ever.
Okay that’s it for now but I’ll be back, and soon, I think!
Yikes! A year? Somehow, though, it feels longer… I’m not so sure about the name Zoey, to be honest… Don’t you think you should go with something a bit longer, like… oh, I don’t know… Chelsey?
