What’s New
It’s been a little over a month that my mom came home from the rehab center. I like having her back home. I would just walk into her room for no reason sometimes just to check on her and know she’s there.
I can’t really remember a whole lot that has happened. I’ve been going on a lot of job interviews and whatnot. I even applied to Universal for Halloween Horror Nights to be an ASM or Stage Manager. I haven’t heard anything back yet, but I think the interview went petty well. The job would start the last week of August if I were to get it.
I finally got to see what Jason does at work. He let me go with him twice. Wow, I folded I think he said 80 papers. And he folded so many more so much faster than me. But when it was time for him to deliver them, he had me sit in the back, and he was throwing the papers over me. But wow… he is so strong. It’s very cute. He throws the papers out both sides of the car. And occasionally he would stop to look at his paper and look back and smile at me. And then I helped him move the papers from the back of the car to the front for him. And the second time I helped him he had me move up to the front seat and he let me throw the last two papers. And this guy who works at the warehouse with him was talking to me asking me about SAK and other things Jason’s told him about me. 🙂 haha.
Jason and I haven’t been doing a whole lot. We’ve been watching a lot of movies. He got the complete set of Planet of the Apes so we watched all 5 movies, plus the remake. We got out packet from Royal Caribbean about our cruise. I’m so excited. It has all the information we need, with our luggage tags and our room number.
I finally got a job. It’s not what I wanted and my parents are still telling me I need another job, but at least it’s a start. I’m working at TJ Maxx. Kristin works there, and she recommended me for the job. So, now I’m working with her. It was funny my first day at Orientation when I was being introduced to everyone as Kristin’s friend, and they were all like oh so you are the girl she was telling us all about. I wonder what she was telling them. I don’t think she told them I’m her brother’s girlfriend. Anyway, I finally have a job where I’ll be paid every week, on top of being at SAK where I hardly make anything every other week. I just need to find another job and work out a schedule for all the places and my parent’s will finally be happy. And so will I once I start making money.
My birthday is in two weeks. I told Jason I would like to get fondue and he said ok. Wow! Yay! 🙂 So now I have to decided on where I want to go. I also want to go to Pleasure Island cause it’s closing in September and it will be the last birthday I can celebrate there. 🙁 How rude of Disney World to think people don’t want Pleasure Island around anymore. No one asked me! I love the Comedy Warehouse and Adventure’s Club.
I’m having a mammogram done tomorrow morning. I’m scared. I know I don’t have anything to worry about. Cause I already had an ultra sound done 3 years ago and I told the doctor that when I saw him last week, but he wants to just make sure. I just don’t want to be squished. Oy!
I can’t really think of anything else going on. I’m going to help Jason wash his car sometime soon so he can get a new one. But it keeps raining everyday and he sleeps so late.
Well, this was just an update and to make sure my diary doesn’t get deleted like my other one for some stupid reason. Ugh!
