So Much Stuff…

Wow… I have no idea where to begin. So much stuff has happened since I last wrote.

Well, I’ll start with my one year anniversary with Jason! 🙂 I was looking forward to that day for well… a year. Haha. I gave him one of his presents a few nights earlier which was actually a year from the day we met. It was a photo scrap book with pictures of us. And he got me the 42nd Street CD! Yay! I can now tap dance in my car again! 🙂 Haha. I also gave him a gift card to Colonial Photo and Hobby. Figured I’d help him get his photo career underway. 🙂 We went to dinner that night at Colorado Fondue Company. Finally after a year of wanting to go there with him I did. And it was so good! I was a little sad after though cause he wanted to go home and just go to sleep. 🙁 I wanted to be with him more. So he made it up to me the next night. 🙂

Doubt ended actually on my one year with Jason. Luckally it was a very short show and there wasn’t a whole lot of stuff to do for strike. It was a very fun show, and I had a great time stage managing my first professional production. 🙂 And Jason even got his first professional photography assignment. He took the archival photos of the show! That’s my boy! 🙂

Jason joined my family for our Passover Sedar. I made the motzah ball soup and I actually got him to have some. Very little, but he had a motzah ball. 🙂 I was jut upset that Brian walked out of the house without me knowing it before Jason got there and he didn’t come back for the sedar. 🙁

Something I could have done without and I know for sure my mom could have done without. Relay for Life, April 25th, my mom was so excited about. We had a great team, and had raised a lot of money, a whole lot of money. I dropped my mom off at the zoo earlier that day and she was helping my uncles get our site all ready. I went to an audition at Shakespeare for next season. I got back there later and went to see her at the survivor dinner. Then I went back to the camp site to wait for Jason and his mom and sister. When they got there everything was going very well. My mom came out and then it was time for the survivor lap. My dad and Jason were taking a lot of pictures of my mom and all the other survivors walking. Then my mom and uncle were up by the stage giving out prizes. Jason and I then went to look around for something to eat. But we ended up watching this karati presentation. All of a sudden the music stopped and there was an announcement for the family of my mom to report to our site. Jason and I looked at each other and all I could think was my mom wanted to get a picture of our team like she told me she wanted to do. That was not it. I got there and saw a circle of people and then saw a paramedic leaning down, and then I saw someone on the ground. All of a sudden I freaked out when I realized it was my mom. I didn’t know what happened I thought maybe it got to hot or she passed out or something, then I saw her leg. Her left leg bent sideways. I lost it. I leaned down beside her crying and asking her if she was ok, and telling her I’m there for her and that I love her. And the paramedic told me to get back, and Jason had to pull me away from her. I couldn’t stop crying and saying her leg, her leg, why, why, no, no, not again! It was only three years ago that she had fell and broke her right femur bone. She was all better and walking great and working out several times a week. Jason ended up driving me to the hospital and I’m so glad he was with me. Though I also really wanted my brother, but I couldn’t get ahold of him. Finally he called me and I told him to find a way to the hospital. He finally got there 2 1/2 hours later. But he didn’t want to hug me which I really needed. She ended up breaking her left femur bone. When Jason and I got back to the zoo most of our team had left cause they didn’t want to stay the night if my mom was not there. That’s not what she wanted. She wanted them to stay,  but they didn’t want to. Jason and I did a tour of the zoo around one in the morning. Then he left for work, and I went in the tent and just laid there till around 6:30. My dad was with me then and we ate breakfast and then took the tent down and headed home to get ready to head to the hospital and pick up Brian before my mom’s surgery. We got to the hospital just in time to see her getting taken into surgery. That was the longest I have ever sat in a surgery waiting room. From 1:30 in the afternoon to 8:00 at night. However the surgery went really well and she now has metal rods in both her legs.

She is in a rehab center and is getting better much faster than before. I guess the YMCA has really helped her out a lot. Cause she’s a lot stronger than she was before. I just miss not having her at home when I need hugs, and going out with her. She really did not need that.

FRINGE! Yes that is right the Fringe Festival was May 15-26th. One of my favorite times of the year. Jason and I submitted art work for Visual Fringe. And I was going to be an opening act for Mark Baratelli’s show all the way up the day before Fringe,  then he told me he didn’t need me anymore. I was going to hula hoop! Well, I had a great time at Fringe this year. I didn’t see as many shows as I would have liked to have seen, but the one’s I did see were very good. It was Jason’s second Fringe experience and I loved seeing shows with him! 🙂 Brian also came to Fringe this year and I saw some shows with him. One of the highlights of the 12 days of Fringe by far had to be Jason and I selling our artwork! Yes that is right, one of his pictures and my painting sold! Wow! His picture sold by the third day too! Mine sold on the last day. Wow! Haha. I was really hoping his other picture would sell as well, but I still things it’s super great that even one of his sold! There were over 30 pieces of art sold this year, a new record to last years 19 sold! That’s amazing! And Jason and I were one of them! He’s already looking forward to next year, I hope he sells more next year as well. 🙂 He’s my professional photographer! 🙂

Jason and I finally went on our very first mini vacation together. And I got to keep him to myself for an entire night… twice, for the first time! 😀 It was a very last minute planned trip. I found out we were going the night before. Jason told me he had very good news to tell me that would make me very happy. So when I got to his house he told me that a lady at his work told him that she would love to cover his route for him on Saturdays and Sundays. And it turned out that this past weekend his mom and sister were heading down to Ft. Lauderdale to his grandparents house. So he told her she could cover for him those days. And so we joined his mom and sister and drove down to Ft. Lauderdale Friday afternoon. It was a very squishy car ride. His mom’s car is a small two door and we were both in the back. Oy. Anyway, we got there and found out we would get to stay in the bed room and his mom and sister would be out on the couch. Wow. Well, there was futon with a matrass that pulled out under the other one. So there were two twin beds but whatever, we got to be together. His mom, sister, and grandma were going to see some guy talk at the arena down there, and so we stayed at the house. Jason had a really bad headache. I felt so bad for him, he wanted to go to bed at 9:30 that night. Well, it wasn’t long till he got ou

t of bed and threw up. My poor baby! We eventually switched beds and he was not only closer to the bathroom, but could hang his feet off the end since there were no bars on it. Well, he got up again and so did I, and his mom and sister and grandma were back. I ate something, and Jason laid down with a washcloth on his head. He got up again and came and sat on my bed and asked me to hold him and he turned the TV on. I wanted him to feel better. I woke up and took a shower and let Jason sleep. When he woke up he said he felt better. Good! We were going that day to visit my grandpa. Yay, he finally got to meet my grandpa. We went to eat lunch with him. Then we went over to see Eric at his work. When we left there we went back to his grandparents house, to head to his uncle’s house for dinner. That house was so big and had so much cool stuff in it. I want a big house with cool stuff in it. Well, when we got back to his grandparent’s house we got ready for bed and watched Pirates of the Caribbean on TV. Then we had snuggly cuddly time and went to bed. 🙂 I loved it that it was a Saturday night and I was finally with him. He goes into work early on Saturday nights. So it was the first time I was with him on a Saturday night between the hours of 8pm and 10:30pm. And I loved it! 🙂 We headed home on Sunday. When we got back to his house he really wanted McDonald’s so we got that, and then we went to Disney to continue having fun vacation time together. 🙂

Well,  that pretty much catches up to now. Oh, Jason shaved his hair on Monday. I like when his hair is long. Oh well. He is still cute, and I know it will grow back, it did already. 🙂

My mom may be getting out of the rehab center sometime soon. So she will finally be home. Yay! My parents 32 wedding anniversary is on Friday, hopefully she will be home by then! Even though it’s two days away!

Love aways,
