2007 Is Coming to An End

I still have no idea where the year went. It makes no sense to me. When I was younger the years didn’t seem to go by as fast, and now it’s just like don’t blink or it’s over. Though I do have to say this has been one of the best years of my life… so far. There are a lot more “best” years to come.

Hannukah has come and gone. Jason got me the Seasonal Anuual Pass to Disney World. Oh so much fun. My family went to Miami to do our Hannukah show. It was very interesting there. The guy who produced the show was so excited to see us and kept telling us to let him know of anything we need. They put us up at an Extended Stay America a few blocks from the theatre. Our first show was a little odd, though what else is really new. My mom gave me a present, a baking mixer. The audience seemed to like it. And there was an ice cream party after the show. The next day my brother took my mom and I to walk around Coral Gables and the Miracle Mile. It was really nice there. Just about every other shop there was a bridal or jewlery shop. Haha. Our show that night on the second night of Chanukah looked a little different when we walked in. There was a different table and the seats were set up very close to where we were sitting. It was a little more uncomfortable for me. But oh well… I got over it. Again after that show was another ice cream party. However after that show the producer wanted to talk to us all. He was telling us about reservations for the rest of the shows and other “concerns” he had. He told us that we should consider canceling the last 2 shows or even just canceling the whole rest of the run. It turns out that our show was not what he really thought it was, yet he wanted us to decide and get back to him the next day. Well… to make a long story short, the next day we all got up, I took a shower and my mom and I were getting ready to go out with my brother to see some stuff around Miami, and my dad was going to stay at the hotel and do his work. Well Brian came in and told us to pack our stuff cause we were leaving… to go home. The producer went ahead and cancelled the show dispite the fact we were planning on staying. He felt the show was unsuitable for his theatre and it would give him a bad reputation. WHATEVER! He thought the show was going to be interactive or something like that. Well, so we ended up leaving that day, and we went to Ft. Lauderdale and had dinner with my grandpa at Chili’s. Some third night of Hannukah, not even getting to light the menorah. Then we went back to his house and my uncle came over with his fiance, and then my cousin came over as well. We got to meet my grandpa’s cat Tiger, and my grandpa gave me a Star of David necklas. Then when we left his house it was really late, and I called Jason as I was driving home and talked to him for about an hour till I saw my brother pull off to a gas station. My mom said I drove very well, we only stopped once besides the stop my brother made. Jason already had plans for the following day after I got home, seeing as I was suppost to still be in Miami. He went to Disney with his friend Chris, but he told me he wanted me to come over when he got home. That night however I went with my family to see “My Fair Lady” at the Bob Carr. It was very good. So I ended up getting to spend Hannukah with Jason. Since he had a menorah at his house I didn’t feel rushed to get home every night to light the menorah, I just lit it at his house. I’m just wondering if from now on my brother is going to have us do anymore Hannukah shows.

Jason’s 25th Birthday was on the 15th. I think I was more excited about it than he was. We went out to dinner with his family acutally on the 12th, since his birthday was on a Saturday and he had to work. We went to Logan’s. It was good. I was a little shocked by the fact they didn’t even do anything special for him like get dessert or anything. So being the good girlfrined that I am, I made him a cake. And not just any cake… his favorite kind of cake, yellow cake with chocolate frosting. And it was double layered. Oh yeah, I’m that good. I went over to his house around 3pm on his birthday since I had to be at work at 4pm. Oy. Well, I got there and his mom was going out so she let me in the house which was good. I went into the kitchen and set up the cake with the candles. Yet he was still sleeping. I knocked on his door… nothing, I sent him text messages and called him… nothing. How sad being right in his house and not getting him up. Well, it was a little before 3:30 and his mom and sister got home and were like he’s still not up. Well, his mom aparently knew how to get him up. So thankfully she did cause I needed to get to work. He looks so cute right when he wakes up. He blew out the candles and ate a piece of cake and made me stay to have a piece too. I got to work 5 mins. late but it was alright since nothing was going on. I left work a little after 7pm, and rushed back over to his house to see him again before he left for work. He was suprised to see me, but still happy. We went to disney the next day for his birthday “celebration”. And we met up with Stephanie, Tim, and his family. We went to Animal Kingdom first. They all wanted to ride Expedition Everist. Oy vey! I did not want to go on that. I was so terrified. I felt quite dizzy when it started going backwards. We also went on the safari ride. When we were walking into a gift shop,Tim pulled Jason and I aside and told us that he was going to propose to Stephanie that night at the Spectical of Lights. Wow! So after that we headed over to MGM. Well, there was a bit of a misunderstanding, Tim thought I was going to make the reservation, and I thought he was. When we got to the park we told Jason that the 3 of us had planned all week to take him to the Brown Dirby for dinner to celebrate his birthday. Well we got to the resturant and realized it was full and neither of us made the reservation. So we went to check other resturants which were just as crowded. At that point I called the reservation center to see about getting into the Japanise resturant at Epcot, but that was full, so I got us into the new Italian resturant insteat…at 9:15 that night. Oy. Well, after a all the crazy people went on Tower of Terror, we all walked over to the Spectical of Lights. We saw the danicng light show, and after it was over, Tim pulled Stephanie away from the whole group of us, and I have to say it was one of the sweetest things I have ever seen. He got down on one knee and there was a big circle around them, and he asked her to marry him and she squeaked out “Yes!” and everyone clapped and cheered. Oh so cute! Then we headed over to Epcot and got there just in time to eat. Oh, it was a good day/night.

Christmas… I celebrated my first Christmas this year. And what made it even more special, My parents were invited to the party Christmas Eve at Jason’s house, so our parents got to meet. I was so nervous that entire day. And why… I have no idea. Our parents seemed to get along really well. It was a fun party and there were games and prizes. Jason and I won the gift wrapping game. I stayed over at his house that night to open presents in the morning. I was sad that he had to leave to go to work and left me to sleep in his room alone. Oh Christmas morning. I woke up to Jason sitting at his computer, a very nice sight to see. His mom made cinnoman rolls for breakfast, and we were watcing theRadio City Christmas Spectacular on TV. We all had stuff in our stalkings. Jason gave me two mint chocolate candy bars, and 2 boxes of Excedrin. Haha. His grandma gave me these cute socks from Bath and Body Works. We then opened our presents. I got clothes from his mom, sister, and grandma. And Jason got me a shirt from Disney from the Star Wars store that is oh so funny. It says “Judge me by my size do you?” and on the back it has a sign that says “You must be this tall to ride this ride” with the 40″ sign and Yoda under it holding a Mickey ice cream. And the best present he made me open last… a fondue pot! OH MY! I was so excited! He is the best ever! I can’t wait to have fondue! It was a very nice first Christmas. I was going to join his family for dinner at his brother’s house, yet dinner ended up being at 2:30 in the afternoon and Jason needed to sleep. So instead I went to Ameria’s with my family to be with all the other Jew’s on Christmas.

Sweeney Todd is a very good movie. Jason even bought the soundtrack.

Today I got to see a friend of mine I haven’t seen in several years. My friend Leia who I went to SCC with. She has been living in Germany since her husband is in the army and is stationed there, yet he is over in Iraq right now for 15 months. Well, Jason and I went over to her grandma’s neighborhood, for a little party/get together. And I got to meet Leia’s adorable baby Meadow, who is only 7 months. Oh so cute! I was a little upset that non of her other friends made it over. All the other people ther were her family. But it was still nice. I got to hold Meadow and she was chewing on my finger’s and her two little bottom teeth are quite sharp. Haha. My mom and I got her a cute outfit that Leia said she would take a picture of her in and show me. And the thing that was the cutest over all, after Jason and I left and I was waiting to get out of the neighborhood, out of nowhere he said “You are so adorable.” Hahaha.

So New Year’s Eve is tomorrow night. Wow! My parents and I are going to a party at Jason’s house. I guess his parents do like mine since they invited them over to there house again. I really want to have fondue, but I have no money and either does my mom. Oy! And I told them I would bring the fondue pot. Maybe my dad will have some money when he get’s home from Ft. Lauderdale tomorrow so we can get the stuff to make the fondue. It will be my first New Year’s Eve where I’ll have a guy to kiss at midnight. And he is the absoulute best guy in the entire world! I love him oh so much! It’s so exciting to me that our one year is only 4 months away! And he’s already planning stuff for us to do way into next year. Like he already told me what he thinks we should dress up as for Halloween. As well as plans for next Hannukah and Christmas. He really wants to be with me. And I really want to be with him. How did I get so lucky.

Well, it has been a great year. And here’s to many more great years… with Jason. Happy New Year!!!

Love always,
