Wow… Time Goes By Fast!
Well, I realized I have not written here since October. That was quite some time ago seeing as is it now the first day of the last month of the year. Where did the year go? It feels like it was just December 31st, 2006 and I was dancing to the 80s with Blair and Harmony. Wow! It has been a great year and there is still a month of greatness to come!
Let me see where to start… I’m thinking back to October after I last wrote. Ok, well I made amazing pumpkin pies. And I took one to a very fun and exciting pumpkin carving party at William’s house. I carved quite the cute pumpkin. Jason’s pumpkin was huge and he had to do a lot of work to carve it, but it looked really cool, as did everyone elses.
Jason and I went to Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party on the 30th. That was so much fun! I haven’t been to Magic Kingdom in a while and I was so excited to go on Pirates since it’s been updated with Johnny Depp. I sware it looks like he’s right there on the ride. And the best part about going during the event, there was no line cause they only let so many people attend. We also went on The Haunted Mansion which had just re-opened and was remodeled. It was awesome. Jason was so happy to go on that ride. He was wearing his Haunted Mansion t-shirt. Haha. After the ride we saw the Boo-to-You Parade. That was a lot of fun. And I loved watching the little kids so happy and dressed up. And Tigger was dressed as a pirate! And the fireworks were really cool too. It was raining and that was sad cause we got all wet, but we stood under the purple people mover eater (hehe) for cover to watch. We then went on the purple people mover eater (hehe). The longest line we had to wait in for the night was 5 mins. for Space Mountain. Which really is not bad. After we got off the ride it was raining a bit more. We put on the rain ponchos that his grandma gave us before we went there. Haha. We went on Winnie the Pooh. He had never been on that ride before since he said he always felt weird since he would be there by himself. So it didn’t look weird for him to go on with me. We went on Haunted Mansion again as well as Pirates. So much fun. I bought Mickey Pirate ears. Yay! I had such a great night there with him!
Halloween… oh so spooky! I went with my mom to the mall. We saw several little kids there dressed up. Very cute. A few kids came to our house trick-or-treating, so I gave them candy I got the night before at Disney. But I ran out, so I freaked out and ran over to Wal-Mart to get more, since I was gonna be going out that night and didn’t want my mom to be left with no candy for the kids. Well, as it turned out… no more kids showed up. Oy! And she already opened one bag, oh well… I returned the other two. So I ended up going that night with Jason and Blair to a haunted house. Now keep in mind, I am totally against being scared and scary things. I went to see Mickey the night before just for that reason. Well, they felt it would be good for me. Oh no! It was a house all about Michael Myers. I almost had a heart attack. I had Jason behind me holding on to me the entire time, and Blair in front of me. She was so brave. I wanted to beat Jason up for not walking fast and for turning me around to see creepy man standing there with a knife every chance he had. Ugh! After we were done, Jason said my heart was beating so fast and he’s never felt a heart beat that fast. I was so scared. I didn’t want him to let go of me all night. Why does he have to work at nights! Ugh! I survived and went home and held my mommy, and told her to keep me safe. Haha.
“The Emperor’s New Clothes” ended and I was a bit sad by that. It was such a fun show, and the cast and crew were a lot of fun. I’m hoping I get to work at The Rep again for “Treasure Island” in February. I was upset I had to turn them down when I got a call on Monday night for something that started today, but I’ll be in Miami the whole week.
IAAPA was back in Orlando this year. That is the International Association of Amusment Parks and Attractions. The best convention ever! I went with Jason on the first day, and he was so amazed. He couldn’t believe there were rides and games and food there, and it was all free. We had so much fun. And we took a bunch of photobooth pictures. As we were walking around we saw my mom and uncle’s. Haha. We ate so much pizza, ice cream, and bad for you food, it was so good! Hahaha. I ended up going again on the last day with my brother. Again we took a bunch of photobooth pictures, played games, and ate food. I was so excited when I found out the convention will be back in Orlando next year! I hope I’m avaliable to go, cause that is not something to be missed.
I joined Jason’s family for Thanksgiving dinner. I made pumpkin pie and pumpkin bread to take over there. As it turned out his dad baught a pumpkin pie, and another family they invited brought a pumpkin pie as well. Haha. Oy! Anyway, it was a lot of fun. Jason was quite exited by the fact that the family that came had a son, who was just as excited about the game Rock Band as he was. We were playing it for quite sometime before dinner. I was mostly playing the guitar, but the drums are a lot of fun. Though a bit hard. The dinner was very good, and I sat at the “kiddy table” with Jason, his brother Eric, and that guy Matt. Haha. His sister was suppost to sit with us, but she felt like being an adult and not sit with us. And for dessert his mom put out my pumpkin pie since it was the only homemade one. I had a good time with them. I like his family. And I’m going to be joining them for Christmas dinner as well at his brother’s house.
I went to a wedding last night for Caitlin. It was so beautiful. I was a little upset with Jason for not getting dressed up. But I got over it after the ceremony started and I saw how pretty Caitlin looked. John is a lucky guy, he better take great care of her.
My family is going to be doing our Hanukkah show again, this time in Miami. The fun all starts Tuesday night. I’m sad about it, cause I really wanted Jason to celebrate Hanukkah with me. But I got him a menorah, and showed him how to play dreidel, which he happens to be very good at. Haha. And I told him I would call every night around sunset to help him with the prayer for the menorah. And Jason is getting me my Hanukkah present tomorrow, a Disney Seasonal Annual Pass! Yay! We can go to Disney for an entire year! With occasional blackout dates. But it’s still going to be so cool to be able to go to Disney anytime. We are going to MGM to see the Spectical of Lights.
Well, that is pretty much all so far. I’ll write again soon possibly if I get the chance.
Love always,
