Rattle & hum

My hummingbirds are back. 😀

Unfortunately, had a panic moment (2 days?) regarding insurance – it’s a long, boring story, let’s just say my appeal is on the governor’s desk to be reinstated with the ONLY insurance all my specialists take. Never mind it leaves me with no specialists or hospital coverage here, I swear Illinois can (and does) fuck up a wet dream. 

I bought shelves at goodwill last week and have yet to set them up – because the other night, the fire alarm (and strobe lights) went off and my graceful self landed half-into the tub and did some serious rub damage.  Of course, with no local hospital (thanks governor!) I haven’t had it checked out but it’s insanely painful.  Coughing and sneezing are a special kind of hell – I can’t even get a full sneeze out due to the pain.  So the shelves, they sit.  🤔

Grilling at mom’s tomorrow, I want a huge salad too.  I just want food, period, I’m hungry!
