Never Satisified!

So I have had my last 2 nightshifts off due to being ill. Going back in tonight. So basically with having last week off as holiday and then 2 nights off this week sick it has given me a lot of time to think. The devil makes work for idle hands!!!

I am starting to think I am so done with working nights. It leaves me knackered ALL the time. I get paid £8 per hour which is really rubbish for working through the night but then I think would I get a job that paid that working in the day time? Also I think I am capable of so much more than Sainsburys (not being arrogant just realistic). I need something more stimulating and challenging to be honest. However, I don’t want anything too mega stressful because I still need to juggle a job with looking after 3 small children.

Liam is starting school in September so I am thinking if I could get a job that was say 10.am – 6pm (or even a bit later) 3 or 4 days a week then I would only need someone to have the kids for a couple of hours after school which is not too bad. My mum and Chris’ mum have both said they would cover that between them. Hmmmm.

My sister works in a call centre. I used to work there with her 12 years ago. Since then it has changed hands and most of the people are different. There is a woman there who is my sister’s boss. Now 9 years ago I was actually this woman’s boss! After that when she got promoted I worked alongside her. I got on quite well with her. She knows my capabilities, she knows I am reliable etc etc. I took time out to have kids and in that time she has obviously risen a bit higher through the ranks. Well my sister says her job is desperate for Team Leaders at the moment. Potentially only for 3 months though which is a bit worrying.  Guess who is doing the hiring though? The woman I worked with!! Angela wants me to go for it. On  paper it looks good. It is a no brainer really – a good opportunity.

So why do I have cold feet?????????
