Family Changes

I finally got to meet my step son a couple weeks ago. Hes been over a couple times and so far things are going good. Im just getting used to the idea though. Even though hes not living with us, its been years since Ive been with a man that had  a kid that was around. It makes me kinda nervous cause last time I was with a man that had kids, everything was fine until the kids became involved. It has been nice having him around though. My hubby has been taking him to work with him to do jobs instead of me having to go, so that I like and when he does come over he is helpful around the house. Im just already slightly frustrated cause I feel like anytime something comes up with him, my hubby forgets about certain responsibilities around here.

Other than that, Ive been taking it easy most of this week since I got a cold. I had one busy day so far this week and most of the rest of the week Ive been sleeping a lot. Trying not to let this cold go into bronchitis and the more I sleep, the less I smoke lol.

As for my girls, they are doing good. My youngest is in 6th grade this year and doing so good in math that she already got moved to a harder math class. She was getting bored after finishing her math each day and skipping ahead and getting them all right with no help so her teacher moved her to a harder class and so far so good with it. My older daughter is still working hard in school in her senior yr of h.s and doing good at that and doing so good at her first job they took her on her first catering today and when she turns 18 she is being promoted from hostess to waitress.
