Injection #1 of infinity

Injection # 1 down, infinity more to go. At least that is what it feels like when I look at the enormous box of drugs and needles.

I injected the Lupron into my stomach rather than my leg. I figured there was more fat on my abdomen and maybe it would hurt less. It took a good five minutes with the needle poised to work up the courage to actually stab myself. Stabbing oneself just isn’t natural. I have so much more respect for my dad, who had to give himself insulin injections several times per day.

It really wasn’t that bad. The needle for the Lupron is very small. The injection site is annoyingly irritated and slightly itchy. No side effects so far.
