My Birthday was Great :)

 My birthday was yesterday and I had a blast.

At 11 I went with Rachel and Victoria from UPS to Azuma. They bought me lunch and it was delicious. I talk to them almost every day with work and once in a while we get breakfast or lunch. It is very pleasant 😀

Then, after that, I went on a blind date with Paul. What an interesting guy! He is a scientist, goes around to locate deadly diseases and viruses, collecting mosquitoes to find the source and prevents it from spreading. Its really amazing what he does. Who would have thought that even existed! He is very handsome too. Ray was pretty but Paul is handsome 😀

Then, at 9, Rachel, from where i work (not UPS Rachel) and I  went to Effex… only its closed on wed 🙁 So we drove to Exhale and it happened to be karaoke night 😀 What fun. There was only a handful of people there. We got some drinks, and then I noticed  a guy I knew named Lucas and we went and sat next to him. He sang a song, we cheered and drank more 🙂 On the upper level, we went and played pool, which, I am surprisingly good at 😀 There was three of us, so we just shot balls into the holes and whoever had the most balls in the end won. I WON! 😀 I ordered some wings and we watch more people sing. Rachel went and sang Chuck E.’s in love. I don’t really like the song but I did my best to dance while she sang. Then, she wanted to sing with me. We were debating on a song and I said, "Lets go outside and practice first" There is an outside bar at the club. We sat out there, were singing and talking, and the next thing we knew workers were telling us it was time to go.

We got tacobell, drove around and listened to music, then went back to Rachel’s house and bullshat till the morning. It was a blast!

Ray text me at 12:04am "btw happy birthday!" on my birthday. Then at 6am, i got a text talking about how he went to my work to give me something… but I wasn’t working. Really Ray? I could see if you were not dating, coming to my work that early and texting me at midnight, but, how horrible for Alex’s sake.

It also got me thinking. Brian was one of Ray’s closest friends who wanted to date Ray. Ray said no because he was a student. Alex is a friend of Brians and Alex is taking summer classes at UNM. Its kind of shit for Brian to introduce Alex and his friends to Ray, and then for Ray to not date Brian, knowing how much feelings he still has, goes out with Alex. Especially since Alex isn’t going to be around forever. I wonder if Ray realizes how much he is hurting Brian, even if Brian doesn’t show it. That doesn’t count as a very good friend in my book!

I responded today to his text and said something along the lines of "Thanks for the birthday wishes. I had a great birthday. Now work 🙂 Im off till sunday." And he replied, "Off till sunday! sounds like someone is dating : )" I was like… how do those dots connect and disregarded it. We text back and forth for a while, he kept prying trying to get information, and then I realized… who cares if I tell him? Im not his boyfriend, or really a friend for that matter, to him and I cant let his feelings be a concern of mine. So, I told him about Paul…. Ray started getting jealous and told me so. Then I told him, "Im sure that feeling is natural since you are my ex. Give it time. You will get over it."

I got an "LOL. Beyotch!!! : )" back and then told him I was going swimming. Later i text him to know that Kathy Griffin was doing an episode of Drop Dead Dive! That was a series him and I watched a lot.

I used to doubt if Ray and I would ever be friends, and Im letting my body live its feelings one day at a time, but today it was cool. The weird thing is, I don’t have strong feelings for Ray but it was a pleasant surprise to text for a while without, I guess i want to say hate, in the air coming from one of us. I didn’t ask anything about his life though. I figured if he wanted to share he would… but he didn’t. Mostly he just asked questions and I answered.

BUT 😀 Paul keeps texting me so that is good! Today I went over to his house, NICE HOUSE btw, and had a quickie. He was playing with my ass, trying his best to fuck me but I told him not without a condom. What is it with the people I meet not wanting to use a condom?

I’d like to get to know Paul more, the sex was okay, but since there wasn’t any real emotional attachment it was just that… sex. I felt it would have been the same with anyone. Thats one of the things I really enjoyed about Ray. Day one, there was a pretty strong connection and our bodies just seemed to fit together somehow. I’ll either find a guy like that again, one day, or be able to advance a relationship to that 🙂

Oh, Paul tells me he is husband material LOL Sounds like someone is wanting to start investing.

Im going to make some toast and use the Huckleberry Honey Rachel got me for my birthday and read some more of The Scarlet Letter 😀
