Louisville- Clubs and Old L-ville
Dear Diary,
Well two nights ago I went to visit the few gay clubs/bars here in Louisville. One is called Triangle,(opens 4pm) the other Stargate Q and Connection. First I went to Triangle. It was dark inside and there were a few guys there around 6pm, even a cute couple that were really affectionate, if you know what I mean. I ordered a "shirley temple" and listened to 3 guys’ conversation. They were fun to listen to, and after I was done with my drink I walked around the corner of the bar, asked for just water, and sat on the stool continuing my eavesdropping. That went on for a few hours. Visited Connection next, it was dead at the time, only about 3 people there including the bartender. Was kinda’ dead at Stargate Q as well, which opens at 8pm. Drove one of the bar patrons to Stargate Q then, cause we both wanted to see what it was like, and it was okay.
Today my mother and I visited Old Louisville this afternoon. We toured a house, that we found out at the end of the tour may have been haunted. It was built in 1895 so I could imagine. It was a really nice house, I took some pictures. The Old Louisville society wanted $20 for a 26 min DVD on the Old L-ville houses archetecture. Wanted $22 for a paperback of some local writers’ Haunted Old Louisville book and I thought NO WAY, not for a paperback. I did buy my friend a shirt and a magnet for myself. Then went back to the hotel. Was tempted to see another museum, but my mother was tired, and I was a little too. We watched "Baby Boom" on AMC and then my mother wanted to watch the 9/11 special on History Channel.
Yes, seven years have passed and I hope we catch Bin-Laden soon and end this horrible war.
