Louisville- The Departure
Dear Diary,
just packed my bags this morning. Of course I was almost late for my bus, but my mother gave me a ride to the stop. Had a half-day at work and then heading over to the rapid station. We would be taking my car, ’97 Chevy Lumina LS, down to L-ville. It was convenient that the Brookpark rapid station wasn’t far from I-71 S. We drove that practically the whole way, alternating a few times driving. We stopped in Bellville, OH for an Amish buffett. Well, I got the buffett, my mother got white clam chowder. I figured I’d eat for the whole day so we wouldn’t have to stop and eat again. We got to downtown L-ville around 8pm. It was cool, ’cause while unpacking our bags in front of the hotel, what should ride up behind us but one of those carriage-driven taxis. So I just arrived and see a Kentuckian horse. We got settled in. Our room in pretty nice, but the view could’ve been better. We don’t have a view of the Ohio River, like I was hoping we would. Oh well.
