A Wicked Wednesday
Dear Diary,
Well last night didn’t go exactly how I planned it, but I still had a good time.
A few months ago I got the itch to go to something at Playhouse Square, which is the big entertainment district here in Cleveland. I’ve been there to see many shows like Titanic, The Lion King, Mamma Mia, and yesterday WICKED. I bought them in November when I was working still. I bought two tickets, hoping to find a good guy to go with as on a date. Unfortunately that never happened, as all the guys I emailed inviting them to join me that evening didn’t reply. I went with my mother instead. We had dinner around 5:30pm at Embassy Suites’ restaurant on E12th. When she went up to go to the bathroom, it’s then when my heart cried out for a nice young man to be sitting across from instead of my mother always. I get so sick of doing stuff with her sometimes, but glad she was there because I didn’t want to go about trying to sell the ticket that night.
The show was awesome! I had started reading the book, but didn’t finish the whole thing. I had heard some of the music from the website and loved it, and bought the soundtrack on EBay. It was fun and today my mother and I bought tickets to see JERSEY BOYS when it comes to Cleveland in late June.
Meanwhile I have met some new gay guys in my area through gay.com and GCN(Gay Christian Network) website. We’re going to the Cleveland Film Festival movie "Shelter" next Saturday the 15th. I’ll be meeting Jonathan. Another guy who lives right near my house I met for lunch once and that was a great time. So I was hoping with meeting new people I would have found a date, but life’s not fair like that. OH well, I have to go find something for my mom now. Laterz.
