place holder. oh five.
I just realized I needed to write for it to be officially today.
So here I am, writing.
I’ll add more later 😛
So, here’s the thing… I’m sick of talking about politics. It’s not that I’m sick of politics, but I’m sick of people who don’t give two shits about this stuff when it’s not all over the news and the only thing being fed into their brains by completely subjective television and newspapers (who are all pushing their own agenda anyway) acting like they know what’s "best" for the country anymore than the other average "Joe the Plumber." That was a long sentence, but I’m pretty sure it wasn’t a run-on.
Anyway, while everyone on my favorites list has updated with their "follow the herd" opinion about the election and the results, I have nothing left to say. I have my beliefs, sure, but I know that if anyone wants to know them, they are welcome to ask. I have never been fond of pushing (or even unsolicitedly giving) my opinion on anyone else. I don’t think that should change now just because it’s what everyone’s talking about.
I think the outcome of the election will mean huge things for our country. What those things are, time will tell. I know what it means to me personally, as I’m sure all of you do too, but what will happen, we will see. I know one thing though: I made history yesterday. I voted for the first time in my life, and I made history. That is something I am and always will be extremely proud of.
I congratulate everyone who used their voice to vote.
Now, can we go on with our normal lives, please?
