Summer Quickly Passes
Summertime has passed quickly. The girls are getting ready for school already. JD will be a senior, DJ a Sophomore. my oh my!
DJ did one play this summer. Both girls are working part time this summer. JD and I took one quick trip to ND for a friends anniversary party. That was fun.
Had a houseful of company over the 4th of July….that was a blast.
Fishing tournament and fishermen…helped out with that…
camping/fishing on Fort Peck…caught lots of fish..been enjoying that a lot
Going to Medora tomorrow for the weekend. Will go to the musical tomorrow night, the girls will love it.
oh, yeah, found out I have an abcess on my tooth, been on antibiotics for 3 weeks, have root canal next week (woohoo)
Going to Missoula in a couple of weeks for a hockey camp. Me, the two girls and another girl. We get to stay with my BFF. But that means I will miss the women’s fishing tourney. oh, well.
JD had her senior pictures done, she is so pretty.
Other than that it’s been gardening, working, and such. Put up a whole bunch of beets last weekend. Cucumbers will be coming out my ears soon. Then the corn, tomatoes, peppers…oh and the beans!! Oh my!! It will be a bountiful harvest as long as the hail stays away.
The weather has been "rough" to say the least. tornadoes, hail, winds. We have been very lucky and only received the rains that keep the garden growing. DJ was invited by my friend who works for the NWS to join her on a day of skywarn classes across the Eastern part of the state. I think she will go. She wants to be a trained spotter for the NWS. What a kid.
The fair starts tomorrow, the girls are each entering 3 pieces. DJ has 3 original drawings, and JD has 3 photographs.
Oh, me oh my! never quiet time around here!
at the old home town library right now..we are going to ND (the big lake) on Monday, and were planning on stopping at Medora on Wednesday…though probably won’t stay for the play…glad you are staying busy…sounds like the girls are doing great…
