Calling for nightmares

Did anyone else have nightmares last night?  I’m currently blaming it on today’s Mars-Pluto conjunction.  I didn’t even realise how bad a dream it was until I started recounting it to myself.

I was trapped in a house with half a dozen other people.  Some crazy tyrant was planning to cut off our heads, wire them into robots he’d made, and turn us into these robot things completely under his control.  He’d decapitated the first of us, and I started frantically making plans to escape or find a way to fight while he was busy with his second victim.  And not help them, because it wouldn’t succeed.  It was horrible.  The rest was like some incredibly tense horror movie, without resolution.  And I NEVER watch horror movies.

It wasn’t exactly a nightmare.  I didn’t wake up in terror.  I woke up in pain from the stress.  So today I’m a wipeout – useless from low-level pain and lack of sleep.  Why?  That’s what I can’t figure out.  Why would I dream such a thing?  And were did that utterly extreme plutonian character come from?

If anyone had similar unexpected nightmares, I’ll happily put it down to a diabolical Mars-Pluto conjunction.

i can’t remember what i dreamed even though i remember being scared about something. Yours sounds extremely cool but scary too.

Occasionally I will meet ‘evil’ ‘satan’ or whatever you want to term the thing in my dreams, a being of pure malevolent fear. But no nothing really complex happens in my nightmares, usually I’ll just be having a normal dream, and I’ll sense the dark creature and it becomes a nightmare. Mostly I wake up trying to scream but my throat is so constricted that I can’t get any noise out except for a

very quiet hissing type noise, it takes me about half a minute to recover my ability to talk. Sounds dramatic I guess but it happens so often I actually kind of expect it, and honestly I’m usually happy that I didn’t bother anyone with my screams, might give them nightmares. Yours sounds very complex though, although a little inappropriate it sounds interesting. As you said, like a movie.
