Re-treat

I am in need of a spiritual retreat.

This is the time of year when I finally feel like I’ve gotten my time back. I have completed my one, big project at work and things are otherwise uncomplicated. My extravocational activities are likewise in a state of calm, completeness.

Now is the time, for the next 3 weekends, when I can finally DO something to take advantage of having Friday afternoons off.

I think…this weekend, I will go camping. Of all the places around, I think I’ll go to someplace familiar, and among them, only two have any real meaning (not including the Land). Since I am in a spirit of discovery and retreat, I think I’ll retreat to the place in the south, not the east. Once, this was a place of great discovery, a place to really reconnect.

I guess I’ll go and see what happens.

…assuming there’s room in the campground….*chuckle*

If there’s not, there is always the following weekend, too.

I hope it rains some.
