tMonkey Mayhem

I am a very lucky person. I don’t necessarily believe in luck, but if I did, I would believe that I am a very lucky person. I think I’ll write more about this later…

So last night, while laying in bed, listening for assassin activities, I found myself face to face with an assassin. It was amazing. This killer of the night managed to sneak in through my window without a single sound, and without being seen. I’m glad to be alive to give my respect to his skill. As he crept up to my bed in order to perform his task, I prepared myself for an encounter: I cleared my throat. Finally noticing that I was awake, the assassin lunged. I quickly grabbed my pillow and kicked my blankets up in the air, obfuscating the space between me and the assassin. As he stabbed down onto my place in bed, I rolled to the side. I could tell at this point that he was joking. His stab was almost friendly in its speed, and I had plenty of time to get out of the way. "You’re not the one who killed the other inmates, are you?" I asked. He responded by executing a mock stab in my direction. I watched with interest while dodging this jab and noticed that his weapon was what looked like some sort of hypodermic needle. I hopped backward and watched again. "Why are you toying with me, sir? It’s very late at night, and I’m rather tired. Can’t we play this game tomorrow, during the day?" I asked. He tilted his masked head curiously and let out what seemed to be a silent yell. This time the stab seemed slightly more real, as if he didn’t like the way I played the game. I blocked the needle with my pillow and twisted, disarming him of the small weapon. He looked at me angrily, and jumped back out the window he entered.

I went back to bed and woke up in the morning to find out that 10 more people had been murdered in the night. What was curious was that 11 tombstones were laid out in a different place from where my friends were standing sentry duty. The 11th tombstone had a pit, but no body filling it.

I told my own story to Ren and Jonas and they seemed amazed for some reason. Ren commented that my skills must be improving, and Jonas told me… to get the needle immediately and show it to him.

After careful analysis of the needle by Shevot, it was determined that the solution inside was amazingly potent, having the ability to stop the heart almost immediately. He asked to keep the solution, and I said yes. Jonas didn’t altogether like the idea, but it was my needle to give, not his. Well, it wasn’t my needle, but it was left in my care.

Anyway, tonight we will be holding a defensive vigil. We being many of the inmates. We want to be prepared to protect ourselves tonight. This is obviously getting worse, not better.

I find that I can stay up pretty late as long as I’ve consumed enough water. No time like the present to start.

Is this for real? If it is, you’re badass. If not, you still are badass.
