At Random

Ok, after 3 more deaths last night, which looked the same as the 3 before them, people are starting to figure out why these people are being killed. They are random inmates.

Really, there’s nothing linking these people together except in the case of the first two who happened to be friends. I wonder if some sick person out there is honing their skills, like Him, trying to be the best ever. Normally I would commend that, but killing is wrong.

The reports imply that all murders have been performed after dusk and before dawn. No signs of breaking and entering have occurred, and no one has seen the tombstones get placed. I doubt that will be the case after tonight. I know a few of my followers plan on performing an all night vigil by the tombstones so that they might thwart the assassins.

Last night’s deaths were enough even to awaken the interest of Ren. He gathered us together this morning to see what our opinions on the matter were. Most of us were somewhat troubled, me being the most troubled by it (deaths happen all the time, but I still won’t let go of the shock that murder causes). Jonas simply stated that if anyone broke into his room while he slept that person would be filling the next grave. "I’ll mess him up so bad,  they’ll have to search his body with a sieve." Good ol’ subtle Jonas.

Anyway, I’ve decided to start staying up later at night to see if I can hear anything happening in my building. Hopefully this will end before long. Good thing I’ve got water to keep me company!

Yikes! Be careful!

“search his body with a sieve” How curiously archeological. I had no idea that Jonas was so academically minded.
