HELLOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

It’s almost over.

Really. Almost over.

However um…student teaching? Does not rock.

Mainly one kid.

Sooo um….anyone out there with teaching experience? Help?

The kid….I mean…is out of CONTROL. Won’t sit down, won’t listen, won’t shut up, doesn’t care if you give him detention or suspension. Just…goes. And goes. And goes. No rewards work, candy doesn’t work, glaring doesn’t work, putting him at the front of the room doesn’t work. Games don’t work. Quizzes don’t work…apparently calling the parents doesn’t work either from what I’ve gathered from other teachers. Dad is in Iraq and mom works all the time. And apparently he was just the same before dad left because neither mom nor dad ever diciplined him.

And if you call the mom she says it’s not her problem.

So.

Um.

HELP?!?!?!?!?!?!??!

And did I mention I’ve only had him for TWO DAYS?!?!?!?!

TWO days and he’s this bad.

And believe me, it’s HARD to push my buttons…but when someone just wanders around and WALKS OUT OF THE ROOM when you tell them not to…WTF!?!??! How am I not supposed to want to wring his neck? Apparently every other teacher wants to as well.

So….anyway.

8th graders are the devil.

11th and 12th? Good kids. Quiet. Just…sit there and cooperate. Don’t really CARE…but they at least cooperate. They might not give two shits but at least they are quiet and don’t escape on me!!!

If these kids want to leave the room, they ask ON THEIR WAY OUT THE DOOR….and honestly part of it is my teacher…or my supervising teacher….because apparently he doesn’t actually instruct. Ever.

They just watch TV.

*puts head down and cries*

So. Anyway. YAY…fun stuff. 10 weeks of that starting in January.

I may be on the 10:00 news for homicide before it’s all said and done.
