Working and Good Attitude???

 God has really blessed me with just a wonderful attitude towards working. I mean, yeah, you guys are all thinking, "Well, it’s not that hard, all you have to do is sit there and look pretty" Yeah it’s that, but you can’t just sit there, you gotta constantly be watching the water, and if you’ve ever tried staring at one object for a long time, you know how tiring it can get.

But not only that, He’s just given me the patience I’ve needed to be able to deal with some of the more roudy guests. He’s just shown me how to stay patient even when mothers yell at you how they’re going to sue the pool if her kids get hit by a sponge ball some of the other kids are throwing around. Haha, that was funny.

Actually I really like my job. I would worked here last year except my job at Burlington Coat Factory had really turned me off from ever getting a job as teenager. But all of us lifeguards get together better than most other jobs i’ve heard reports from. The hours are extremely flexible. If I ever need to get out of some work because I have something else going on, there’s always someone willing to take the hours, and most of the time, the person is nice enough to remember you next time they have the same problem.

On top of all that, I’ve been kept from being sunburned the entire summer while working, even on the days I forget the sunscreen.

Thank you God for blessing me with such a great summer job and thank you for the income it supplies because none of it possible without your grace and mercy.
