Grease

Grease was some of the most fun I’ve ever had. Performing on stage in front of hundreds of people each night was absolutely exhilarating. Come Monday, nothing will seem like it should be. All of the excitement and anticipation leading up to this Grand Finale will be gone. Come Monday, any evidence Grease had ever taken place at Hazelwood West will be destroyed. Forgotten forever by the stage and the lights and the air. Grease will become mere memories in the hearts of many. That is what matters most. The memories made.

I’ll rest tonight knowing never again will I be where I was today or last night. I’ll rest tonight, and be completely happy with that. I’ll rest tonight and carry with me the memories of never more. I’ll never forget.

I’ve done 17 shows in my theatre career at West. Each one turned into a memory, and each one fading too. I can still recall all the names of the shows and the positions I’ve held, but other things that went along with it are harder. It’s depressing really…

awwwww, that was precious. It is always sad to see a show pass, especially when it is your last. I’m glad you at least got to do theatre your senior year.
