Quick!

Things are progressing, but it’s kind of a two-steps-forward-one-step-back type of thing…or maybe vice-versa sometimes.  I returned to the orthopedist, who now thinks I might have a spinal injury/disc problem in my neck, since I have a lot of pain there too, and constant headaches, so next Wednesday I will have my MRI results.  I really, really, REALLY hope something shows up on the MRI, even if it’s something really bad.  Just as long as it’s fixable.  I don’t care if I even need SURGERY.  Just GET IT FIXED!  At least my ability to cope with pain seems to be increasing, or all of my exercise is helping.

Evie is still awesome, but that’s no surprise.  Every day she does some new, cool thing.  Yesterday she kept looking intently at something over my shoulder, as if someone had walked up behind me.  (Sometimes it’s like she sees ghosts.) When I looked, she would yell, "Aaaahhh!" like she was trying to scare me, but she would be trying to not smile.  This went on for about ten minutes.  I love how she does funny things, and intently watches my reaction.  She’s still eating great and sleeping with no trouble, and she has two teeth coming in (without even being fussy).  She’s ridiculously awesome, cheerful, smiley, and most of all, FUNNY.  I don’t really have time to post many pics in here, but I would invite any interested person to check out my Facebook page at http://www.facebook.com/link.cyanide.  Some pics are public, but if you want to see more, send me a friend request.

I’ve applied for a few college teaching positions, so I anxiously await word on that front.  I would LOVE to begin teaching history next year.

Life is awesome, I am happy, all is good.

Yay. I’m glad to read an update from you. If you remember me, I would like to add you to Facebook. xo

Ryn: What a compliment *blushhh*. But I don’t think I am. You are precious, I enjoy your entries; especially because you are a realist, like me. I try to control my eating habits now, which is hard but useful for concentration and, well, life. Thank you for adding me back on FB. Take care and fluffy Evie hair = love. xo

ryn: he’s some sort of freak, he has been sitting up really well unassisted for like two months now! He also crawls and has been for about two months, as well. Crazy, right? ~

Hopefully you’ll get some answers from the MRI. I had one for my headaches and was diagnosed as post concussion syndrome. Glad to hear you’re getting out and looking for work 🙂
