Summer’s End

Tomarrow is Labor day, one last summer hooo-ray. Of course we spent the day cleaning the pool and pressure washing the house and deck and anything that wasn’t moving. whipped up some pasta salad and some spinach/crabmeat dip–yummy with chunks of pumpernickel (sp? looks wierd) bread! Swiped a couple coolers of ice from work. Everyone is bringing a few dishes, a pot luck kind of deal. The beer, wine and buckets of cosmos are already chillin’! It truly has been the summer from hell full of unexpected things, life changing things,and I want to end it on a positive note –a beautiful sunny day surrounded by the people who have been there. Been in the trenches with me and my family and who have helped us thru. I have a feeling Summer ’08 is going to rock!
