Wednesday, 25/7/12.

Another scorcher of a day. Shame my gnat bites have turned into horrendous purple lumps the size of golf balls.

So I worked 8 – 2pm today, then grabbed some shopping (really pretty set of flowery studs for £1.50!) and came home to get started on the bedroom, sigh. I got it done though! Literally just need to do inside the windowsill and that’s it. Then I did my ironing whilst watching the women’s olympic football – Thorpe’s there, in the crowd, watching it. He rang me just after I got off work, apparently he’s sat directly in the sun so I dare say he’ll be coming home rather burnt. We’re winning currently, so fingers crossed.

Dave’s BBQ was fun, I wore my new flowery dress that I got from New Look for £8. We made punch with wine, vodka, cranberry juice and lemonade and loads of chopped fruit in it but it was so strong and all I could taste was the wine, so Becky added a can of Monster and remarkably it worked! Still, I only had one glass because I shouldn’t be drinking on a school night 😛

I’m gonna grab some food a bit later, it’s too hot to even warrant moving right now.
