Huh, I thought I’d written yesterday. Apparently not.

I worked 1 – 4:45, went to mum’s for dinner and then went to see Magic Mike at the cinema with Saz, Lisa and Becky. Only we got there and it had sold out, so we did the pub quiz instead. 22 out of 60 – quite possibly our lowest score yet! Haha.

Oh, the sunshine is back, and it is scorching. Apparently the rain is set to return at the weekend though, so we’re making the most of it.

I’m day off today, so this morning I painted the ceiling and inside the window sill and touched a few bits up here and there. I’m hoping to have it finished completely by tomorrow. Mum’s coming over after work and then we’re going into town because I want to get a few bits and have a look for some summery dresses, then Dave has very nicely invited me round for a BBQ tonight so that’s the plan for today!

(I have been bitten to fuck and back. The bites have swollen up and gone really red too, which means of course I can’t wear shorts or dresses and it’s sunny godamnit!)
