Sunday, 8/7/12.

I spent two hours painting the bedroom blue this morning. I wish I’d taken a photo, the transformation from when we moved in to how it looks now is amazing. It will need another coat as there’s spots all over the place that are lighter than others and I’ve managed to get blue all over the white edges so I’ll need to re-do those, but other than that it’s looking really good. Just need to get a carpet sorted now. 

I watched the Grand Prix earlier – actually disappointed that it didn’t rain. Seriously Britain, you’ve rained every day for the last month and then the one race that could be incredibly exciting in the wet you don’t rain for? Pffft. Webber won, beating Alonso. Muhaha. Button came 10th.

We’ve got lamb in the slow cooker and I’m watching a Futurama marathon on TV. Fuck I love not being at work.
