Fore!
Well I haven’t updated in quite some time… Not all too much has happened i don’t think. But at the same time, I feel like a lot has happened.
May 5th? Wow. In a nutshell, Colin is back to his regular self. Even though I am not allowed to call him or text him. One Tuesday night, I was going to drive down and see the 5th years (it was the 12th) after we finished our final. They were welding in the plumber’s hall again. But Nate told me he wasn’t going out so I figured, ‘What’s the point of driving the half hour to Springfield if Nate is going.’ So Matt and I went to Silk City where we met up with Mark (the director of the program) and eventually my teacher, Mike. The night was uneventful and I was home at a decent hour.
Last Thursday is was the normal crew. There were a lot of fith years out… after the early birds weeded out it was myself, Nate, Colin, Steve, jeff (sub. teacher), Matt, and a few others from my class. I.got.plastered. I asked Nate if I could go home with him and he said that I could. So he and I eventually left. I felt fine on the drive to Soho and when we got there I plopped on the couch and slumped my head over and said, "I do not feel so hot." and he kept asking if I was okay and I just kept telling him I was really dizzy. I got up and puked in the toilet and then went and slumped back on the couch. He brought me a bottle of water and told me to lay down. I told him I would be in in a minute and he went into the bedroom. I slowly got up and slumped in bed and my mind was racing. I thought to myself ‘im going to puke again’. I got up, went to the bathroom, and puked again. I woke up early the Friday morning and Nate asked how I was doing. I told him I was fine and then apologized for puking. He said it was fine and then told me I was snoring! Ugh, so embarrassed.
So I ended up going to work that day.
I think the weekend before that I had ended up having a 3 hour phone conversation with Steve. Nothing weird, just a normal conversation. Like we were a bunch of teenagers or something.
Last Thursday night, I also went home with Nate. We again had amazing sex. Woke up the next morning and went to work. Went back to his house Friday night. We ended up just watching tv and falling asleep on the couch. We both had to wake up early Saturday morning: Nate was going to play golf with the boys and I was going to do my community service. So Nate left before I did and just told me to lock up. So i got my tools ready and i headed off to Chicopee. I was nervous the whole drive because I knew this would be the make it or break it to decide if i like the work or not. So i walked up, tools in hand. Thank god mark was there. I shook his hand and he introduced me to the other electricians. He told me to ask one of them what they needed and then he scurried off. So I went up to this guy Jay (who is apparently a fifth year) and said, "My name is Vile, Im a first year a apprentice who knows nothing but has a bunch of tools." and he laughed and shook my hand. We ended up just running wire to the outside receptacles and then grounding the romex to the box. It was like 10:45 when one guy said "yeah, we’re gonna pack it up" and i was shocked because I thought I was going to be there all day. So I thanked jay for showing me stuff and then started walking to my car.
That’s when my phone rang. It was Steve. Asking how the soup kitchen was. I went and sat in my car and told him we were done already. He was asking me if I was coming golfing and I said fuck no. I was sweaty and stinky and unshowered. then I got passed between Colin, Nate, and Steve. I got sucked into going. So they gave me directions and I headed off to Agawam. Steve told me to call him back when I was on 57… So I got on 57 and tried to call him. No answer. Kept driving a couple of miles and tried to call again. No answer. So I eventually pulled off into a gas station and called Nate. I was nervous cause, again, I thought they were screwing with me. Thankfully Nate answered and I told him where he was. I was like a quarter of a mile away. So I drove to the golf course and parked. Nate called and said "are you here?" and i said i was in the parking lot and he said, "its going to take a little longer then we thought, we’re just finishing the 5th hole." and I said I didnt care. So i went up and sat outside the club house and enjoy the weather. Rain was imminent but I was hoping it held off. I sat and waited for about 45 minutes and then I hear "hello" behind me. It was Justin. Then the rest of the boys rolled in so i walked in with them. It was me, Colin, Nate, Steve, Justin, and this other 5th year Matt. I’ve met him a couple of times but I hadn’t really talked to him before. So the guys all scarfed down some food and Colin says to me, "Who you ridin’ with?" and I asked what he meant and he repeated his question. I said, puzzled, "I rode in myself…" and he chuckles and says, "No, for the back 9." And I said I wasn’t going and he and steve go, ‘well what the fuck, you’re already out here." So they all get up and we head out to the golf carts: Matt and Justin, Steve goes with Nate and I end up with Colin. Surprise. So We start going in the golf cart and im TERRIFIED of falling out/rolling over. I’ve never been in one! Colin called me a wuss and indicated the ‘oh shit handle’ on the top of the cart, which i grabbed onto. He put his arm around me and drove slower for me.
The rest of the afternoon was spent beasting around in the golf carts (i drove the golf cart for the last 7 holes or so) and colin being all touchy feely. At the end, we were all sitting and the boys were finishing their beers and Nate was trying to write my phone number on the roof of the cart! haha it was really funny. Oh and when he finally talked to me that afternoon I whispered over to him, "I left all your doors open with a ‘free shit’ sign on them" And he just laughed and said, "Oh really?"
Golfing was all done and Colin had to go home to get ready for a wedding. Nate rode with Colin and he has to go to a Jack and Jill that night. Justin went home. Steve, Matt, and I went to this bar in Southwick called ‘The Southwick Inn’. they played darts and then we all played pitch for like 3 or 4 hours. Had a few drinks and then we all left. The whole day was awesome.
When I got home, I plugged my phone in. It had been dead since like 2:30. I had a text message from Nate and I smiled when I saw his name. I opened it up and it was a picture of his sink full of dishes that said, "what the fuck is this bs" underneath. I started dying laughing and D looked at me like I was nuts. I also had a voice mail from him that said, "So now you’re just ignoring my calls and everything, huh? Well I hope you got that picture of the dishes cause i want that shit taken care of friday morning, all right? Ill talk to you later; have fun with Steve and Matt. Bye."
*sigh*
So i have been tossing the idea in my head about moving out to the Chicopee/South Hadley/Springfield/Northampton side of the state… ive been asking about rooms for rent. I dunno… i dont really know what to do. Still tossing it around.
D… I don’t know what to do about him. D, myself, my co-worker Jay, and his girlfriend are going to see STATIC-X and BURY YO
UR DEAD tomorrow night at the Webster theater in Hartford!!! IM SOOOOO EXCITED! I’ve wanted to see Static-X since I was a freshman! So im hoping that goes well!
This is our last week of school… and tonight is our last class in Northampton. It’s a bittersweet thing… im happy I wont have to be driving so much, but i am going to miss my boys.
Im hoping to start going to the gym in the morning for the summer. I still go jogging at night (i went last night for the first time in a week) and I still really like it. My breathing is better and im able to jog for longer distances. but if I try to walk up the 4 flights of stairs at work, forget about it!
Well i think that’s it for now… I know every one of you is dealing with some crap right now and I know you will all get through it 🙂
And, my love, I think of you always…
Actually, for once I’m dealing with pretty much no crap. It’s glorious.

I’m glad you enjoyed yourself. Sounds like you’re having lots of fun. And maybe a change of scenery would be a good thing for you. I’m contemplating it myself.

I was taking classes three times a week at the gym. This week not too much. We are going on vacation, and my free pass was over so I have to wait until payday to get a membership. I was doing 1 hour of Power Ball, 1 hour od Zumba, and 1 hour of Yoga. Those are the classes I was taking. Then on Sunday’s I would judt do 30 minutes of walking or elliptical. I don’t want to overdo the gym yet. I thin

think 3 days a week is good right now. If I push myself too much to go 6 days a week, I will quit. I wish I could get up in the morning without waking anyone up, but my daughter has some sort of radar and knows when I wake up. Plus I would have to get up at 4 am to get in some time to work out because I have to leave my house everyday at 6am. And when you are trying to deal with a 2 year old, you

ryn: I suppose I can understand that it’s a risk to get out of a car on the side of the road, but crap… what if it’s a two-lane road? The speeds would be slower, but is that enough? What if you’re completely pinned in, with people in front, to the side, and to the back, several cars deep? Why don’t we just build special, “getting pulled over” lanes a safe distance from the road?

…All the guy had to do was not be a total dickwad about it. Maybe not start the whole thing out by pointing and yelling from the roadside, maybe not follow me so far (or at all), maybe explain things calmly instead of being suck a complete jerk, so I could say, “I’m sorry, sir, I didn’t realize this had become such a big deal. Now I know, and it won’t happen again.”
