Nobody knows I still love my Narcissistic ex
Nobody knows I still love my Narcissistic ex …Its been 6 years now since the horrid breakup. I actually started this diary to survive the pain. I think all the ailments I have came directly after he left, and they won’t go away. I have learned to live without him and my life has been good in every area but finding someone new to love has not happened. I think its about me being stuck in the past. When my friends or kids ask me about how I am I say I am fine its over bla bla. Its never been over in my heart only found coping strategies to live on. They say a breakup with a Narc are very hard, because you are the addict to his behavior. Its never been love at least this I have convinced myself and I hear from friends he is very unhappy and looks like shit.
I always had an easy time when i broke up from my ex-s but this was the man I thought was my soulmate. I had met one guy 3 years ago I could have fallen for but he was married. After then no one seems to be coming into my reality. Is this my fault? My thinking of how there will never be anyone after him? To summarize this ….I have come to the peace of mind that its over and all that he did I have forgiven him for….now its time to let him go to make room for someone worthy of me…love to you all
I think you have the right idea about waiting for someone who is worthy of you. In the meantime, love yourself. I wish you all the best.

Exes are exes for a reason. Like ciggerattes. Become a bad habit. 😔
Someone else will come. Time between to focus on you, is healthy. Been there. It does get better.
@cdn021mudder absolutely true…

I can completely relate to your entry. I haven’t found anyone either and our breakup was five years ago. I’m thankful now because I know I deserve better. I’m actually happy he cheated ON me with her and then married her…you lose them the same way you get them….lol, losers!
You’ll find your person. Work on you; do you. I have and I’ve gotten two college degrees, my own home, and a third degree on the horizon.
Good luck!!!

I could write volumes about ‘moving on.’ Hope it works out for you.
@dbcooper some tips?
@zowey I have few tips. Mostly, I have sympathy. I have been where you are, from the male side.
@dbcooper they say you should forgive the ones that hurt you…I kind of have
@zowey Best case scenario happens. He comes back. What have you gained? What have you lost? My opinion is that I doubt you gain much, but I am no one. You sound like you’re in pain. I’m just saying I get it.
