Advent calendar rising

Hah.  I SUCK at writing every day.  NWN is the mortal enemy of me doing ANYTHING worthwhile.  Like Kelly said, it’s better than sex for nerds.  I also need to see that movie.  Advent Children.  I’m almost done with Snow Crash.  Did I mention that I was reading that to my mom?  In the car on the way to work?  It’s taken us like 6 months but we’re juuuust about done.  It got a little awkward reading the sex scene with the huge Aleut harpoon hurling heathen murder machine and the 15 year old american Kourier girl out loud to my mom, but luckily that only last one chapter.  So yeah.  reading Snow Crash……. and reading that and playing Neverwinter Nights has put some interesting cross-culture hybridization ideas in my head of how I could make a D&D campaign based on the viral/religious themes in Snow Crash.  AND tie it in to the established story line of the creator race and what not.  New cult, new mission, new threat, big bad enemies, story line that is intricate as all get out, familiar badass setting.  All the elements that make for a kickass game.  I’m such a genius.  I’m gonna go get a cookie now.  Then I’m gonna hack me up a character to see what kind of bad guy this huge Aleut harpoon hurling heathen murder machine makes in the D&D system.  fun fun. ttfn
