YES it’s my birthday.

and I always listen to that song on my birthday because Blur is my second favorite band EVER.  there is absolutely no one who sounds like they do and I love their lyrics and their point of view and especially the music they produce… it’s a really sad song and it makes me cry damn near every time… but I think about how lucky I am to have friends who say happy birthday to me and the song makes me thankful I’m not alone for a day like today.  I’ll be playing that song every year on my birthday until the day I die.  but yeah… I haven’t actually gotten REAL presents presents on my birthday since I was like in 4th grade.  I get tiny things from my parents and they always make sure to tell me happy birthday, but they’re my parents.  Joe said he was going to get me a few computer games and that made me excited, but after he hung up and I really thought about it I got all choked up.  I realized just how long it’s been since someone cared to BUY me something just because I’m a year older.  I realize that if Joey and Cavo end up throwing me a party, I’m probably going to laugh at first and then start crying and hugging everyone.  Just so yall know in advance if this actually occurs its because I’M FUCKING HAPPY.  and a thanks to all of you who have already wished me a happy birthday.  I doubt I’d ever be able to say thank you enough because my throat would be all lump and no vocal chords.  Without a keyboard that is.  THANK YOU.
