WE’RE IN THE ZIPPO HOT TOUR

CONGRATULATIONS!!! Your band has met all the minimum eligibility
requirements to be entered into the 2005 Zippo Hot Tour. Now it’s up to
your band to do everything and anything possible to move to the semi-finals
round in September.

May 1st – June 30th, is the first round of fan voting. FANS will visit
http://www.zippohottour.com, listen to your music and VOTE!!

Here are a few suggestions on things you can do to get the word out, as ONLY
8 bands from each city will advance to the next round:

• PROMOTE, PROMOTE, PROMOTE!!!
• Place the attached web banner on your band site and any other place where
you can post banners on the web. (myspace.com, purevolume.com, etc…)

• Send out email blasts to your FANS and tell them to support you on the
Zippo Hot Tour by voting
• Make announcements at your shows to get everyone to go vote for you
• Include the Zippo Hot Tour logo on any flyers and posters that you create
to promote shows
• Web seeding in your local area blogs and forums

REMEMBER – voting starts May 1st and ends June 30th, but don’t delay… If
you want to make it to the showcase round in September, you need to do
anything and everything possible to get as many votes from your Fans. This
is a single elimination competition!!

The top eight bands from each city will advance to the semi-finals round
where you will compete on-stage in one of the HOTTEST live-music venues in
your city. Here you will be judged by a panel of 3 celebrity judges and of
course your FANS.

You are one step closer to winning the GRAND PRIZE PACKAGE! If you really
want it, show us what you got!!!! There is $55,000 worth of equipment,
expense paid TOUR with a bus opening for a “surprise” national headliner and
an expense paid showcase in Hollywood riding on the line here……SO MAKE IT
HAPPEN!
