sarcasm

Someone once said I smile like I do online.  I look like this 😀 only my eyes aren’t so beedy. Today I was thinking about the difference between sarcasm and cynicism.  I came up with this comparison.  Cynicism is saying what you mean in an amusing manner or tone, while sarcasm is saying the opposite of what you mean in an amusing manner or tone.  example:

Cynicism

Q: “Does this dress make me look fat?”

A: “Well I doubt it could make you look any thinner.”

Sarcasm

Q: “Does this dress make me look fat?”

A: “No dear, you make the dress look fat.”

I like sarcasm.  No really, I do.  hehe. but also just the other day I was thinking about the difference between fate and destiny… I figure fate is the set occurances in life and destiny is the path you choose to get there.  words are pretty cool sometimes.  words like blivit.  what does it mean you ask?  I could be sarcastic and say it means ten pounds of shit in a five-pound bag but I suppose I should tell you about it’s functional useage.  a blivit is something superfluous or annoying.  What a blivit of useful information.  and with that I go to bed.
