New Years Eve In Germany
So Saturday was New Years Eve…I was in Germany…legal to drink…hmm…what do I do?
We dig up some club in Hanau called Club Black Sounds. Lots of R&B and rap, both of which I really don’t like, but I soon realize it doesn’t really matter, because I’m pretty drunk and wobbly and I can’t even hear the music after an hour or two. We did have a 1am curfew, and that sucked, but luckily the people I was with managed to get me home in time. Let’s see…
It started with a glass of champagne. Innocent enough. Then I tried a shot…eldbeer something or other. It wasn’t beer, but it was good. Following that was vodka (wodka!) and Red Bull, then a Yaeger-Bomb (Yaegermeister and Red Bull) then a Henessee and Cola (BLEGH!), then an Amaretto and Sprite, then finally a Gin and (orange) juice. I was amazingly plastered, using my English-German dictionary to hit on random German chicks (who, if I remember correctly, at least appeared to be quite attractive). It seems one of the ones I spoke to was talking to some other guy, and he was quite rude about it when I walked up and announced that I thought she was very beautiful. She smiled. Of course.
So I decided I needed more to drink. Mmm…I like it here. I should have pictures soon! Anyway, I’m out for now. Ciao and au revoir and all that crap.

Armaretto Sour is my favorite drink. not that strong, but tastes good. If you want a real fun night, look for Bacardi 151. I wouldn’t take it straight up shot, but if you do, have somethin to wash it down with, and for gods sake, let it kick in. you’ll KNOW when it’s done kickin.
