Next: you’re the only poetry i can write

headfirst, you’re the current keeping me afloat

– i received a message at two am to inform me that i am now an aunty to a tiny baby girl. she has not yet been named but she will either be an ella, corrine, or helen. i hope she chooses ella.
– the antics at work amaze me and keep me sane, we ate the ends of all his chocolates and to get back at me he filled my open coke with the rest of them. tomorrow i will hide his shoes and i will exchange his healthy dinner with rice cakes.
– vibewire.net have accepted and published one of my poems. this is the first step. maybe someday i will have a book that i will con everybody into buying. watch out.
– my skin still smells of his bed sheets and his body wash, i fear washing it off until i am near him again and am certain i will still leave with his smell on me.
– someday i wish to write of the way he makes me feel, but i do not think words will ever be able to express that feeling i get when he looks at me. this is love, and i am not afraid.
– i am not afraid.

I like Ella, too.I highly doubt you’re going to have to “con” many people into buying a book of yours. I know for certain that I wouldn’t hesitate on it.I have the same problem with washing off the smell of Eric. I got past it by stealing his clothes.
