Everyone must immediately rush out and buy Christina Aguilera’s album, because it is so good. I’ve been meaning to get it for ages, and then finally got around to it today. The best song is definately Infatuation – it’s got a really catchy latino kind of beat and with her amazing voice it sounds great. I saw a programme on VH1 called ‘The rise and rise of Christina Aguilera’ the other day. They showed video clips of this tiny nine year old girl, with dodgy 80’s hair and frilly clothes, and when she opened her mouth and sang it was just like.. I’ve never heard anything that good before. Well, I probably have, but not from some little girl. I thought she was good, but not that good. Anyway, Christina adoration time over. I’ve been listening to an unhealthy amount of Britney too over the past couple of weeks, for some reason. I had the terrible realisation earlier today that I own Christina, Britney and Justin albums. That just seems.. weird. Do I have no taste? Apparently not. But they’re so good!

I’ve been babysitting a couple of times over the past week, for the most adorable baby ever. I don’t know if I’ve mentioned her before, her name is Edie and she’s about 8 months old now, she’s the daughter of some friends of my mum’s. I love looking after her, she’s so happy and cute, but interesting too – she’ll be playing, and then look at you out of the corner of her eye and give you this really mischevious little smile and giggle, and carry on playing. She also has a preference for Lemon Jelly – the band, not the dessert. The pay is really good too – I babysat from 7 – 12 on Wednesday night, and they gave me £50. Tim was like ‘I think this should cover it’ and I was like ‘Just about!’. And they always get pizza and ice cream too.

I’ve avoided talking about exams so far, which is pretty impressive, but they’re just.. awful. I’ve got five next week, two on Monday (biology), two on Wednesday (chemistry), and one on Thursday (maths). Then my last one on the Tuesday following, Chemistry synoptic, which is going to be really bad. I don’t even want to think about having to revise it – I’ve only had maths so far really, and biology tomorrow, so I haven’t got round to it. I hate chemistry. More than anything. And the whole stress is just so much. I can’t wait till the 24th June, it’ll be the best day of my ENTIRE life.

It’s been so hot! I can’t believe it. I spent about four hours in the park yesterday with Rose, pretending to revise, and I don’t appear to be tanned at all. I think tomorrow I’ll go and lie out again and take my books, and try and be brown! I’m glowing white at the moment. I’m the kind of colour which turns seethrough under UV light.

I got one of those Virgin E-TopUp cards today, the ones they swipe and they credit money to your phone account. When I applied for one at the Virgin online site, they had a dropdown box of titles, which included Countess, Duke, Earl, Lady, Prince, Princess etc.. I mean, how could I resist? Today I recieved a letter addressed to ‘Princess Emily’ which my mother brought to me in some confusion. What made me laugh was that Virgin included it – how many Princesses do they think will be applying for an E-TopUp card for their Virgin mobile?

I should probably go and carry on with revision, otherwise a career at Asda beckons..
