And I would walk five hundred miles…

I am officially no longer a schoolgirl. Which is terrifying. It all ended last Friday, my last lessons (Biology and Maths, what a way to go!) the last lunchtimes mooching around the common room wishing I was elsewhere, the last waiting at the gate to go home.. it’s so weird.

I went to Booth’s and had pizza with loads of people afterwards, and then Amy, Rose, Chiara and I went clubbing – Big Night Out, which is always such a laugh. Rose and Chiara left at about 1:30, but Amy and I stayed till the end, and then hobbled very slowly in large amounts of pain to the bus stop. I’m never wearing heels clubbing again (I said that last time). There were a lot of very strange men in the club – one definately had a foot fetish. I’d taken my shoes off cos my feet were hurting SO much, and he spent a long time bending down staring at my feet and then mumbling unintelligable things. He was looking at Amy’s shoes too. Then he called me strange!! There were also two other men who were trying to get Amy to dance with them, so she told them I was her girlfriend. Which was funny. He thought we were sisters, despite the fact we don’t look alike at all. He got quite excited when she told him that. He kept wanting us to kiss – we said if they did then we would. They didn’t, thank god. Not that I don’t want to pull Amy of course, but you know. Anyway, a fun night out.

And then last night I went out for a ‘quick drink’ at about 5:30, because Penny’s going away to Thailand, so it was a goodbye drink. I only knew about three or four people, so it was terrifying, but time drew on and I made new friends in a very drunken manner, and ended up going off clubbing with them too. Which was a strange decision, but fun too. We went to the Garage in Highbury Corner. I’d never been there before, but it was fun.

I’m loving Shakira’s album at the moment. It’s just great. I seem to have misplaced it at the moment though.

OH MY GOD! Justin Timberlake! It was AMAZING! He was just so.. so good. And so fit. I knew he was a great singer, but I didn’t think he was that great. I was so impressed. It was.. wow. I was determined not to buy any merchandise – after previous behaviour at Will concerts (poster, whistle, programme, pink flashing bunny ears) – but failed parlessly. At least I only bought a poster though. And it’s definately worth it.

It was the Leavers Ball on Wednesday night too, which was really lovely. Much nicer than I thought it was going to be. Everyone was happily drunk (or in the case of some, paralytic) and being all nice and dancey, and everyone looked so good as well. I had my hair cut just before, and everyone was being so nice about it. I did, however, manage of course to make a complete fool out of myself on the way home in front of a couple of boys in my year by inhaling the helium from a balloon. But they’re both wankers anyway, and were both really drunk too, so I hope they dont remember. It’s not like I ever have to see them again anyway.

Any other news? Oh, I got my nose pierced! It looks really good, but hurt so much. It was an odd decision – I was in the Bean & Cup waiting to go to Claire’s house with some people, and I thought I may as well have my nose pierced. It hurt when I had it done, but not at all afterwards, which was good. Rose had her cartilage done about two weeks before I had my nose done, and hers still really hurts.

This is really a mega entry, but I’ve just got so much to say! Hope you’re not all asleep by now,

lots of love

Em

Congratulations on your piercing! I want more piercings, in my ears, and a tunnel, and a nipple piercing and may be my lip. Last days at school are strange

Is the drinking age in England 18? If so, I’m jealous. We’re stupid Americans.
