Molly

Molly died today….she was about three years old…when I got her she was young and just sat still staring into space…I brought her home to die that night but the next morning she came out of it….this past week she was doing the staring thing a lot…last wednesday she was loose in the park but seemed to be waiting for me two nights later and let me pick her up..she didn’t try to run this time. She came home and was fine…kissing the dogs, eating, playing…but she again was doing the staring into space thing a lot..this morning she did it and the next thing I know she is kicking like crazy and fell over dead…I guess that is why she took off for a couple of days..wanted to feel the freedom of the outdoors before she died…but waited to come home so she could die with her family.

The dogs were surrounding her when she passed and Reggie even helped bury her…he dug at the dirt and kissed her before I covered her up.

In other news..mom is still in the hospital but should be coming home sometimes this week.

I’m so sorry… *hug*

Sorry about Molly. It sounded like she knew when she would die. It’s happened in animals. I’m sure you have many good memories of Molly to treasure. I hope your mom gets better.
