June Already

So, is it just me, or has time really flown by this year? I mean, it’s already June 3! It just seems like yesterday I was packing up and boarding the train to Halifax…but it was 6 months ago!!!!

I am getting excited to move to Ottawa for school…but also I am going to be sad to leave Halifax. It’s one of the best places in Canada I have lived. However, the weather is quite bi-polar here. Not even lying, it will be warm and sunny one day, and cold, and rainy the next. Cold as in winter jacket. It’s really weird, but kind of coolio.

Work is going alright. Still rotating the apples, citrus fruits, melons, grapes, and a few other things. It’s not the worst job I had, but it’s most def not my dream job or anything. It will be nice to possibly get a reference out of them and move on. If need be, I will apply to work in a grocery store in Ottawa. Who knows. However, all of this various work experiences really build character and experiences.

On a happier note, it’s my birthday next week! Also, the Queen is coming to Halifax at the end of June. And I just found out that Ministers MacKay, Moore and Kenny (all in Harpo’s Cabinet) will be in Halifax on Monday to do some talking on some things…so I might go to that. Should be a good time!
