Prorogation Protest
Today was the big day! It was the Anti-Prorogation Protest across Canada. The one here in Halifax was from 1-2 and at the Province House. It was a good place, I thought, because it’s where Joseph Howe, a famous Nova Scotian, really brought in the idea of Responsible Government in NS…and to British North America. There were probably about 200 people there, so it was a good turn out. Good times.
Besides that, not too much to report. Still looking for a job- and I am sure I will find something soon.
Saw you on the front page, I’m in Halifax too 🙂

*RYN* No, I grew up in Ontario and then moved to Arizona for 9 years when I was 21. I just moved to Halifax in June 2008.

Yes, scenery-wise it’s very pretty. Everything from pine forests and snow-capped mountains to sand dunes and red rock cliffs. How do you like Halifax?
