Ho hum

Well it has been a while since I have updated in this thing.

It seems as time goes on, I feel less and less desire to update this, talk on MSN, message on Facebook, and just be social. It’s not that I am anti-social, it’s that I would much rather talk with all of these people in person. Take, for example, my Manitoba friends. As fun as it is to talk with them online, I would MUCH rather go to the pub with them, to dinner, or anything and talk in person. I realise this is the same for most people, but I guess I just miss the physical contact with people. 

Krys and I are moved in here in Guelph, and I don’t really have any friends here in this city. There are a few, but they are busy and they all have their own group of friends who they have lived with for years- all of mine are in MB; I just need to meet new people, but I don’t have the desire to.

On another note, I am UBER poor, BUT have a lead on a job. I applied for one, which apparently was through a temp agency. I went in yesterday to fill out paper work, had to go back in today to watch some video and a short interview, and was told right away that they have a position for me…so either my resume rocked, or they are just that desperate for someone…either way, I have a job- for now. So hopefully it works out, because I need the money and the job to keep me busy.

So what else can I tell. Well, last week Krys and I went camping up at Kilbear PP, near Parry Sound. It was alot of fun to just get out and swim and such. Then on the long weekend, we went to Wasaga Beach to do a family thing with my parents and siblings and such. It, also, was great fun. It was nice to see all of my family again.

On Sunday, Krys and I have to be in Toronto for her Dad’s 50th birthday, which means I get to meet her extended family on her Dad’s side, so that should be fun. However, next Saturday, we have to be in Toronto for my Dad’s extended family reunion at Centre Island, haha. It’s alot of family stuff right now, which is nice. Krys will get to meet my Aunts and Uncles. However, in an odd twist, I don’t think my Mom and Dad are going- Dad is going to be in BC visitng his Dad and my Mom will NOT drive in Toronto. So we shall see. I have to message them and see what’s going on. Hopefully it all works out, and I don’t have to work next weekend with the new job and such. We shall see.
