I miss…

Mel… Mel was like my first ever favourite on here and I love her to bits. She stopped writing quite a while back however and I miss her. I miss her entries and I miss her comments on mine. I mean I still have her on Facebook but it’s not the same… I miss hearing about what’s going on in her life… and I miss her cheering me on in mine 😉

And Facebook… I mean she seems happy and all… but she is one of those who always puts on a brave cheery face but behind the scenes it’s all not that great you know… so I miss her… and I worry about her… not knowing what’s really going on is sad.

Me… well I had a cold but I was still working through it. Started Tuesday… after I was still fine on Monday in the cinema  and all. From Tuesday it got progressively worse but I kept working and spend all weekend in bed with a new book (which is FABULOUS) and some funny movies… Hangover and Cool Runnings. It was the first time I saw Cool Runnings in English. Cos when I was a kid and lived in Germany all our movies where dubbed into German… so I thought Cool Runnings (which i always thought was hilarious) would be even funnier in the Jamaican accent… but… nah… it was about as funny as it was in German 🙂

Hangover is still hysterical and the funniest movie i’ve ever seen hands down. The scene with the Asian guy jumping out of the trunk must be the funniest in movie history. I nearly pissed myself the first time I’ve seen it and was crying again when I saw it at the weekend. It’s soooo funny!!!! All the scenes with the Asian guy are hilarious.

The book I am reading, after having finished Gifts from Eykis, is Eat, Pray, Love and lady-readers of mine: GET IT!!!!! I am about 100 pages in now and it is hysterical! Very very funny and food for thought. For now I can highly recommend it.

Also I watched the Family Guy Episode Something Something something dark side. Being a huge Star wars fan I was told there are these two Family Guy episodes about Star wars but this was the only one i found (have found the other one now and will watch tonight) and it was HILARIOUS!!!! Esp. the first couple of minutes! The writing at the beginning?!?!?!?! HYSTERICAL!!! And the scene with the snow monster????? Oh my god i couldn’t stop laughing!!!

I finished watching Season 1 (are there more?) of cougar town and also quite funny. Girls: Watch it 🙂

Beside that…. Germany had the worlds worst referee against Serbia!!! (grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr) and I hope i’ll be well enough to go down to the pub to watch the match against Ghana on Wednesday. If not I’ll watch it at home.
